Scott has over 30 years of experience in the hazardous material and safety arena, working with biotech, computer, military, automotive, real estate, governmental, and educational companies. He received his formal education with a BS (Environmental Biology) from San Jose State University and an MS (Environmental Management) from the University of San Francisco. His entrepreneurial drive led him to co-found two industry-specific companies, one where he was responsible for environmental, health, and safety as well as regulatory compliance companywide. The other is INGENIUM, where today he is Chief Compliance Officer and is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM).

Scott and his wife, Leila, are active supporters of the March of Dimes. Leila operates a charity called “Pirate Power” that assists families with children in local hospitals’ NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit). Scott is an avid triathlete in his spare time and enjoys traveling with his family to compete worldwide.
