Scott has over 30 years of experience in the hazardous material and safety arena working with companies in the biotech, computer, military, automotive, real estate, governmental and educational fields. He received his formal education with a BS (Environmental Biology) from San Jose State University and a MS (Environmental Management) from the University of San Francisco. His entrepreneurial drive led him to co-found two industry specific companies; one where he was responsible for environmental, health and safety as well as regulatory compliance companywide. The other is Ingenium, where today he is Chief Compliance Officer and is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM). In addition to his duties at Ingenium, Scott is also the owner/operator at WSR – Environmental & Safety Management, an EHS consulting firm he started in 1999 that services clients throughout California.

Scott and his wife, Leila, are active supporters of March of Dimes, and Leila operates a charity called “Pirate Power” that assists families with children who are in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) of local hospitals. In his spare time, Scott is an avid triathlete, and enjoys traveling with his family to compete world-wide.
