Jason joined INGENIUM a year and a half after its doors opened. He began in Operations at the Escondido branch. Moving from the Commercial Real Estate industry, this opportunity enabled Jason to learn the foundational basics of Hazardous Waste. After two years in the field, Jason proposed to leverage his law school education and business acumen into a hybrid position of compliance and business development initiatives. After a year, Jason moved into a full-time business development position and renamed the department – Innovation. Since then, he has led the Innovation Department as its Director for over a decade. He is responsible for program development, vendor relationships, and sales solutions and is an overall strategic contributor.

During Jason’s tenure, he developed the Customer Portal (INsight) and built a dedicated data team to maintain the backend systems. He has also redefined INGENIUM’s INTOENERGY program and created Bio-INergy and INTOENERGY Plus. Most recently, Jason crafted INGENIUM’s Destination Zero Certification program. Jason has also been instrumental with out-of-the-box solutions for clients seeking innovation surrounding challenging waste streams.

A self-proclaimed data geek and techie, Jason loves to learn about new technologies, facilities, and approaches to waste reduction and beneficial reuse. In his spare time, he dedicates everything to his thirteen-year-old clone, Mason, and enjoys music, concerts, sporting events, video games, movies, and streaming networks. Originally from New York, Jason spends extensive time traveling to the East Coast to visit friends and family. Jason received a Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.

Jason lives in Kyle, TX, with his son, Mason. He spends extensive time traveling to NY, NJ, and FL to visit friends and family.
