Gigi possesses 25+ years of Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) experience solving complex business issues in diverse industries.  Her extensive background has provided her with a strong skillset to work as a strategic, visionary, collaborative leader and consensus-builder for achieving business objectives; assuring regulatory compliance; and driving EHS performance. She has a proven track record for developing and executing highly effective EHS strategies to reduce occupational hazards and risks; prevent incidents; minimize the environmental impact from operations; improve operational efficiency; reduce business continuity risks; and integrate EHS management programs into core business processes across the organization.

She currently oversees the Compliance Team, which includes EHS, Technical Services, and Transportation for Ingenium, setting compliance strategy and directing its implementation at Ingenium locations across the US.  Gigi is a member of Ingenium’s Executive Leadership Team where she drives strategic and operational leadership around safety and compliance. Prior to joining Ingenium, Gigi was owner and principal consultant at Bealkowski EHS services.  She worked as an EHS consultant with Consumer Healthcare, Medical Devices and Pharmaceuticals divisions of Johnson and Johnson family of companies across the US and Puerto Rico and various biotech companies in the Bay Area.  Her roles and responsibilities included the areas of EHS, sustainability, strategic planning, operational compliance, risk assessments, risk management and business continuity, business acquisition/divestiture process, and EHS Management System implementation / certification.

Gigi graduated from Chico State University with a bachelor’s degree in Bio Psychology.  She is involved in the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), Women in Safety Excellence (WISE) SF Chapter where she holds the Mentor/Mentee Program Lead position on the board.
