OSHA 300 Reporting Begins February 1st! Are you ready?

It’s that time of year again! No, not ski season…It’s OSHA 300 Season! Those of you with an EHS or HR background know what I’m talking about, so this is just a reminder to finalize your OSHA 300A Summary Log for 2022 so that you can post the summary in the workplace beginning February 1 thru the deadline of April 30, 2023.

For those of you who are unfamiliar, an OSHA 300A Log is a record that many companies must maintain to document any recordable injuries in the workplace. There are some exemptions from maintaining this log, depending on the number of employees or the type of business. The OSHA 300A Log should include information on the employee and the type of injury or illness. Please note: It is the summary that must be posted (not the actual log). As always, check with your local state to see if it has more stringent OSHA 300 requirements or require their own logs and summary forms.
