Celebrate Sustainability on Earth Day
Part of our mission at INGENIUM has always been to provide the most sustainable hazardous waste disposal and management solutions available. This mission reflects the theme of Earth Day in 2021: Restore our Earth. Earth Day is on April 22, 2021 and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
There are many ways you can get involved in Earth Day while maintaining COVID-19 safety precautions. One of the most impactful things you can do to help our planet is to support companies who strive for sustainability. Buying sustainable products, especially from small businesses, is not only better for you and the environment, but if we all make that choice it will encourage other businesses to look for more sustainable solutions as well.
You can also do something as simple as looking up what types of plastic are actually recyclable, grab your bike instead of your car keys, plant a tree, create a garden, participate in a local event, and even pick up pieces of litter you see on the sidewalk.
