Action Required! DTSC Verification Questionnaires (eVQ) deadline is March 31st.

As part of your regulatory compliance requirements with the California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), it is time to complete your Electronic Verification Questionnaire (eVQ). This annual process is required by the California Health and Safety Code Section 25205.16 and ensures that all information about your hazardous waste activities is accurate and current.  Please note that the eVQ was historically due during the summer – so this is a significant change we want you to be aware of.

What You Need to Know:

  • The eVQ is mandatory for all California hazardous waste generators, transporters, and handlers.
  • The questionnaire verifies your facility details, hazardous waste ID numbers, and waste management activities.
  • Deadline: March 31, 2025 – Late submissions may result in penalties or delays in your operations.
  • Access the eVQ. You can complete the questionnaire through the DTSC’s online portal.

What You Need To Do:

  • Log in to the DTSC portal Electronic Verification Questionnaire (eVQ) System using your credentials.
  • Review and update your facility information, including any waste generation, transportation, or disposal changes.
  • Submit the eVQ before the March 31, 2025 deadline to remain in compliance.

If you have any questions or need assistance with the verification process, watch the eVQ training video or contact our team at Ingenium for help! Feel free to reply to this email or contact our EHS Team for assistance
