RCRA Hazardous Waste Awareness Training – June 5, 2023

THIS TRAINING COVERS FEDERAL EPA HAZARDOUS WASTE RULES

This training covers all states and is required annually for employees with responsibilities related to the generation, management, or response to the release of hazardous waste.  (40 CFR 262.16/17)

This class covers the following topics: Federal hazardous waste requirements, and general information on pertinent federal regulations; Definitions of hazardous and universal waste from the US EPA; Labeling, segregation, and container management for hazardous and universal waste; Storage limits for hazardous waste; Response to hazardous and universal waste releases, including contacting outside emergency agencies.  Some states may have additional rules and requirements (examples: WA, TX, OR).
