As part of the value Ingenium brings to the business partnership, each quarter we invite our clients to attend, at no charge, special trainings that cover a variety of state, local and federal requirements. Last week we held the latest in the series, the DOT (Department of Transportation) General Awareness Training Plus Hazardous Materials Shipping Papers certified training.
One of our partners, Amylin Pharmaceuticals http://www.amylin.com/, graciously volunteered the main conference room of their San Diego corporate headquarters for the event. Our very own Scott Rendleman, Ingenium’s Director of Environmental Health and Safety, conducted the mid-day training lasting an hour and a half. While enjoying lunch, more than 70 attendees from a variety of companies in the life sciences field were brought up to speed on the ins and outs of DOT requirements and regulations.
During the lively exchange of information, the group not only gained DOT information, but shared and resolved issues as related to their particular organizations. At the conclusion of the training, each of the attendees received a certification valid for three years that allows them to sign off on all necessary DOT required paperwork.
We at Ingenium are committed to providing our partners with all of the tools and support needed to help meet and exceed their sustainability goals and are pleased to have been of service with this latest training. For more information on DOT requirements click here
