Bayer Healthcare was incinerating large, nearly empty totes at a rate as if they were full, and they were going for expensive incineration. INGENIUM found a TSDF that would recover value from the waste in these totes for a fraction of what they were paying to burn. These are now getting recycled and receive a recycling code on the manifests for much less than what they were paying before. Lower costs, sustainability and recycling codes on manifests was the result.
